Has anyone ever told you you're bad at grammar? It's bullshit, and I can show you. The only possible way to be bad at grammar is if you have a medical condition like aphasia or something, which you can look up if you want to, but you almost certainly are not experiencing right now because grammar isn't a set of linguistic expectations that we have to live up to. It's just how we talk. And this is the best part. I really hope I've made this video interesting enough so far that you're still here.

You don't have to know how to use grammar to use it perfectly. Do you know how to beat your heart? Do you know how to turn sunlight into vitamin D? Do you even know how you're able to make your body walk? You don't. And even if you can't explain the physical process that has nothing to do with your capacity to actually do the things, it's exactly the same with language.

People confuse grammar with the ability to explain language. When in fact, it's the process of language itself, and you don't have to know a fucking thing about it to do it perfectly. You don't have to understand sound waves to be able to hear. You don't have to dissect an eyeball to see. And you don't have to understand grammar in any explicit way to communicate clearly, confidently, and beautifully.

Okay. I tried to make this video simple enough so that even the people who criticize the way you talk will understand what I'm saying. I hope it's helpful. And as always, if you like being told that the way you speak English is perfectly fine, come on, I got more.
