A 24-year-old man dressed in Batman's Joker costume attacked passengers with a knife on a Tokyo train line on October 31. According to local reports, the knife attack on an underground train line in Tokyo has left 17 injured. The knife attack happened inside the Keio train near the Kokuryo station in the city’s western suburbs. The attacker started a fire inside the Keio train as passengers ran through carriages to escape. Some eyewitnesses said initially they thought the attack was ‘a Halloween stunt’.
