Kevin Smith’s MOTU sob story reveals everything wrong with entertainment today

The entire first season of Masters of the Universe: Revelation is behind us, and since the audience fled after Part 1, the backlash for Part 2 wasn’t as bad. Kevin Smith not only saw that as a win, he shared his perspective on the fan disapproval. In so doing however, he inadvertently revealed just how out of touch he is with the audience, let alone how insulated he is from actual reality.

@AndreEinherjar is of the opinion that what Kevin Smith could very well be equally true for other destroyers of franchises, such as Star Trek’s Alex Kurtzman and Doctor Who’s Chris Chibnall, and he argues why in this editorial.
