India and Russia may not hold their annual bilateral summit this year, informed govt sources. PM Modi unlikely to visit Moscow to meet Russian President Vladamir Putin for the summit. The G20 summit in Indonesia's Bali was likely PM Modi's last visit to abroad this year. However, the reason behind the cancellation of the summit is not clear. The last India-Russia annual summit was held in New Delhi in December 2021. President Putin visited New Delhi last year for the 21st annual summit of the two nations. Russia has reportedly not proposed any dates for the bilateral summit this year. PM Modi and President Putin last met on the sidelines of regional security bloc summit in Uzbekistan in September.
